This Privacy Policy explains how Phygrid AB collects and uses personal data when you visit phygrid.com or contact us through it, and what rights you have. We keep it short and specific to what the website actually does.
If you use PhyGrid’s solutions or platform as a customer, the processing of your data in those services is covered by your agreement with us and our Data Processing Addendum, not by this policy.
Who is responsible for your personal data
Phygrid AB, Swedish reg. no. 556841-1333, Saltmätargatan 8, 113 59 Stockholm, Sweden (“PhyGrid”, “we”), is the data controller for the processing described in this policy.

What we collect and how
When you contact us. Our contact, support and careers forms collect the details you enter: your email address and message, and optionally your name, company or organisation, and the options you select (for example the type of request, the product concerned, or the area you would like to work in). A short-lived technical token is used to protect the forms against spam.
When you browse the site. We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and a Google Ads tag.
- Before you make a choice, or if you reject cookies: no analytics or advertising cookies are set on your device. Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals about the visit (such as the page viewed, the time, and your browser and device type, together with your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your general location). Google uses these signals to produce aggregated, modelled statistics.
- If you accept cookies: Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies that recognise your browser across visits, so we can measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs.
When the site is delivered to you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and technical request data to deliver the pages securely and protect the site against attacks.
When you play a video. Videos are only loaded when you press play. At that point the video provider (YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode, or Cloudflare Stream) receives your IP address and technical data, and YouTube may set cookies under Google’s own policy.
We do not use this website to collect special categories of personal data, and we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
- Gallyn receives and stores form submissions so the right team at PhyGrid can reply. Form data is stored on PhyGrid-owned servers in Switzerland and delivered via Cloudflare’s global network.
- Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) provides Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and YouTube.
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and delivers the website, carries traffic to and from Gallyn, and provides video streaming.
Within PhyGrid, your details are only shared with the people who need them to handle your request. We may disclose personal data to public authorities where required by law.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Form submissions are stored in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection.
Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and transfers are also covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards from us (see contact details above).
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We only use analytics and advertising cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner.

Google may set further advertising cookies, described in Google’s privacy policy. YouTube may set cookies once you play a video.
Changing your mind. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings in the website footer, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. If you withdraw consent, the analytics and advertising cookies are removed. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive information about how we use it
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- erase your data, or restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests
- receive data you provided to us in a portable format, where the processing is based on consent or a contract
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it

If you believe our processing breaches data protection law, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se), or to the data protection authority where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the website or our use of data changes. The version and date at the top show when it was last changed.
